Pointed south again

And none too soon, either.  We made the decision to stay in Alberta until at least Thanksgiving (the weather's always good til then, right?) and then play it by ear.  The above was the week before Thanksgiving.

Still snowy at our first stop at the Dutton rest area (47.92514 -111.73553).

Since the passes weren't snowy yet, we headed west through Missoula and then across Idaho on highway 12.  It was rainy and dreary but nevertheless a scenic drive.  LOTS of fishing pulloffs along the way, and if the weather had been a bit better (or a lot better) it would have been tempting to get a license and dawdle a bit along the way.
We picked up highway 95 south and overnighted near Whitebird (45.71864 -116.31383) before reaching Boise where we spent a couple nights in the Mountain View RV Park (43.56799 -116.20443) while we got our groceries and phone sorted out.

Yup, that's Wendy on the right in the jacket.  Not shorts weather just yet.
